How to apply:

its use is very simple, just take a small piece of fresh aloe Vera, cut it into half from the center and apply the gel directly to your underarms. Make sure that the gel is transparent because pale gels are not fresh. You can also get a bottle of aloe Vera gel from natural products’ shop.

Take ¼ teaspoon of coconut oil and rub it under your arms with cotton. You can also apply it simply with fingers.

How to apply: 

you can apply it by just sprinkling it over the area or can add a few drops of essential oil or water in it. Then apply the mixture with cotton ball.

8. Witch Hazeldeodorant alternatives Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is very common and it has natural astringent and anti-inflammatory qualities that help treat sunburns, and zits. Hazel also helps in drying the oily skin. Witch hazel is a best deodorant alternative, and you should keep it with you. The natural components of witch hazel include tannins, flavonoids, saponins, choline, gallic acid and bitters.

How to apply:

you can apply witch hazel with cotton ball under your arms. Hazel will keep you really fresh with its soft scent.

Unnatural Deodorant Alternatives


Among unnatural deodorant alternatives, alcohol is very common.

1. Alcohol

You can rub alcohol under your arms, because its kills bacteria that causes odor. Alcohol has also antiseptic qualities, so it won’t hurt your skin. You can also add a drop of any essential oil to alcohol to create scent. Like, you can add hazel and tea tree oil, as both are good.

How to apply:

simply pour some alcohol or its mixture with oils on a cotton ball, and apply it under your arms. Oil will prevent the skin from over drying. The mixture is very effective in relieving bad odors.

2. Hand sanitizers

Using hand sanitizers as unnatural deodorant alternatives is also very effective. Alcohol in hand sanitizer kills the bacteria, removing the odor.

How to apply:

hand sanitizer are very easy to apply, as they are available in spray bottles. You can simply pour a few drops on your palm, and apply with fingers under your arms. If you don’t want to use fingers, then you can apply with cotton ball.

Homemade natural deodorant


There is an effective homemade recipe for natural deodorant, as given below;

  1. Baking soda – ¼ cup
  2. Arrow root powder or corn starch – ¼ cup
  3. Coconut oil-5 tablespoons

Combine arrow root powder and baking soda, mix them well, and add coconut oil to make a paste. Store it in an airtight container, and apply under your arm whenever you want.

Another recipe is below;

  1. Shea butter – 3 tablespoons
  2. Baking soda -3 tablespoons
  3. Corn starch – 2 tablespoons
  4. Cocoa butter-2 tablespoons
  5. 2 capsules of vitamin E oil gel
  6. Essential oil – a few drops

Melt the above given ingredients except the oils and stir them well.

After stirring, pour some oil in the mixture, then place it inan air tight container and keep in the fridge. Use it as deodorant alternative whenever you need it. 1/4 pint jar is well to fill the whole mixture.
